The Village of
Rockville Centre and the Information
Technology Department recognizes National
Cyber Security Awareness Month
(NCSAM).
NCSAM is observed each October since
its inception in 2004 - raising
awareness of online safety and
security issues and helping educate
people about the best ways to
protect their Internet-connected
devices. The long-standing theme for NCSAM, "Our Shared Responsibility,"
emphasizes the role that each of
us—individuals, families, schools,
organizations, industry, and
government—can play in helping to
create a safer digital world.
Make time during the month, and
throughout the year, to take
proactive steps to help safeguard
you and your families’ devices and
information as you go online. Here’s

REMEMBER: While October is recognized as National Cyber Security Awareness

of October.
