Q: What is the Village of Rockville Centre (RVC) Online Payment service?
A: The Village of Rockville Centre Online Payment service is a new payment option made available that allows customers to make payments on their electric or water bills online.

Q: Will I still be able to view my balance online?
A: You will be able to inquire on your bill as always.

Q: Is there a fee if I make a payment online?
A: Xpress-Pay.com, our online bill pay provider, charges a site fee for their service, shown prior to the entry of your payment information. The site fee for payment by eCheck may differ from a Credit Card because it may include a cash payment discount.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept for Online Payment?
A: RVC accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover and electronic funds transfer from your bank account.

Q: Will my credit card or bank account information be stored for the next time I use the Online Payment?
A: None of your payment information is stored with Online Payments.

Q: When will my electric or water account be credited for my payment?
A: Typically, your payment is processed and your electric or water account is credited within three business days. If you have not allowed adequate time, you will be responsible for any penalties or late charges.

Q: How do I verify a payment has been credited to my electric or water account?
A: You may inquire on your account balance and check the 'Last Payment Posted' section after 3 business days. You may also contact a Billing Department representative at 516-678-9323. Hours of operation are available on the 'Village Hall Hours and Phone Numbers' page on our website.

Q: When is the money for the payment deducted from bank account?
A:  Depending on the time payment is made the funds for the payment may be debited from your account on the same day. Therefore, you should always have funds available to cover the payment when making a Online Bill Payment.  Any returned payments will result in return fees and any applicable penalties.

Q: Can I change my payment once it has been submitted?
A: Unfortunately, payments cannot be edited once submitted.

Q: Is Online Payment available for other RVC bills?
A: No. At this time, Online Bill Payment service is only available to electric or water customers.

A:  RVC (and our online bill payment provider xpresspay.com) uses several methods, including SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), to ensure that your information is secure.
