Due to construction on Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre's 22^nd Annual Halloween Costume Parade will NOT march down Maple Avenue as usual on Sunday, October 28.

          This year only, the parade will start in Municipal Parking Field #12 on the north side of Sunrise Highway between Forest Avenue and North Long Beach Road and march through the field, then north on Long Beach Road and then turn south on Oceanside Road to the Anderson Recreation Center.

          The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. and is followed by a party at the Rec Center with games, fun and prizes for the costumed marchers.

          Everyone must register for the parade and party at the Rec Center for $8 per family.  

          In case of rain, the parade is canceled, but the party will begin at 3 p.m. at the Recreation Center.
